Fathers Embrace
As we gather on the farm, we introduce our newly formed team with an induction to our core values to kick of the year on a strong note. This is a theoretical course with videos that will help individuals understand that a Fathers embrace is important from a religious perspective. This course offers a new perspective on God’s compassionate love for every believer.
Many seek to bridge the gap between knowing about God’s love and truly experiencing it in their hearts. Throughout the course, we delve into Scripture and the life of Jesus to understand the nature and character of God’s fatherly love.
iDestiny / Camp Unity
Through dynamic sessions with iDestiny, engaging activities on the sports field, and goal setting we unlock the potential within everyone, These transformative experiences empower participants to overcome challenges, build confidence, and embrace a path of personal growth and achievement.
At Camp Unity I becomes We as we collaborate to execute tasks at hand. Our iDestiny workshops will include insights into goal setting, positive perspectives and chain breaking.
Community Based Support Care Services
Through our outreach program to the elderly offering a hand in the day-to-day needs of these beautiful souls ignite a sense of compassion and in return wisdom is instilled within each individual as they experience conversations with souls that have lived a much longer life.
Our social workers will be accommodating this endeavor to ensure that we are making the most of our outreach program.

Our Girl Empowerment Program is designed to equip young girls with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Through a variety of fun and interactive activities, participants will develop new skills, build self-esteem, and make lifelong friends.
Animal Farming
The agriculture program encompasses the comprehensive training and efficient management and processing of livestock, including cattle, sheep, and chickens, as well as the cultivation of various vegetables and herbs, providing support for their cultivation, ensuring sustainable practices, and maximizing yields.
The program aims to create a deep understanding of agricultural practices, empowering individuals to contribute to food security, economic growth, and environmental sustainability. By integrating agricultural techniques and emphasizing holistic approaches, the program inspires participants to become stewards of the land.
Carpentry
The farm has a spacious woodwork warehouse equipped with advanced machinery. This facility serves as a central hub for woodworking activities, housing a wide array of tools and equipment essential for crafting and processing wood. From precision cutting to intricate shaping, the machinery within the warehouse enables efficient and high-quality woodworking operations.
The presence of such a resource on the farm not only facilitates internal woodwork projects but also opens avenues for community engagement, putting the individuals work on display each Sunday in a market hosted by Camp Unity.
Steel Work
In the steelwork area, our youth will learn various valuable skills such as welding techniques, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and structural design. Additionally, we support them in developing proficiency when operating machinery and tools used for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
They will also gain hands-on experience in safety protocols and quality control measures essential for working in metal fabrication and construction industries.
Automotive Knowledge & Driving
This program offers hands-on experience in fixing cars and trucks, with the goal of guiding apprentices toward becoming mechanics. Participants learn valuable skills such as diagnosing mechanical issues, repairing engines and systems, and performing maintenance tasks.
Through practical training and mentorship, individuals develop the expertise and confidence needed to be employed in the automotive industry. They gain insights into problem-solving and critical thinking, essential for troubleshooting automotive issues.
Electrical Work
This program focuses on electrical handy work, covering tasks like fixing appliances, wiring houses, and understanding basic electrical work such as installing solar systems. Participants learn practical skills such as diagnosing electrical problems, safely handling wiring, and installing various electrical components.
Through hands-on training and guidance, they gain experience in electrical systems and develop the knowledge needed to tackle a range of electrical projects. They learn about sustainable energy solutions like solar power, contributing to their understanding of renewable energy technologies which enables ease of employment within this rising industry in South Africa.
Plumbing
This program focuses on practical plumbing work, covering tasks such as installing water systems, repairing leaks, unblocking drains, and maintaining household plumbing fixtures. Participants learn essential skills like reading plumbing diagrams, using tools safely, and working with pipes, fittings, and valves.
Through hands-on training and expert instruction, they gain real-world experience in both residential and commercial plumbing systems. The program also introduces participants to water-saving technologies and sustainable plumbing practices, aligning with South Africa’s growing need for efficient water management and enhancing employability in the construction and maintenance sectors.
Building
This program focuses on building and construction work, covering tasks such as bricklaying, plastering, roofing, and basic carpentry. Participants develop essential skills in reading building plans, working with construction materials, and using tools safely and effectively. With practical, hands-on training, they gain experience in erecting structures, mixing and applying concrete, and understanding the stages of building development.
The program also emphasizes safety regulations and sustainable building practices, preparing participants for employment or entrepreneurship in South Africa’s growing construction industry, where infrastructure development continues to drive job creation.
Hiking Guide
This program focuses on hiking and nature guiding, equipping participants with the skills to safely lead groups through outdoor trails and natural landscapes. It covers essential knowledge such as route planning, map reading, environmental awareness, and first aid. Participants learn how to interpret natural surroundings, manage group safety, and communicate effectively with diverse hikers. With hands-on training and guided field experience, they gain confidence in leading hikes while fostering a deep respect for South Africa’s rich biodiversity.
The program also emphasizes eco-tourism principles, enabling participants to access employment opportunities in the tourism and conservation sectors.
First Aid
This program focuses on essential first aid training, teaching participants how to respond effectively to medical emergencies at home, work, or in public settings. It covers key areas such as CPR, wound care, fracture management, and emergency scene safety. Participants learn how to assess injuries, stabilize patients, and use first aid equipment properly. Through practical simulations and expert instruction, they develop the confidence and skills to provide immediate care in critical situations.
The program also highlights the importance of health awareness and emergency preparedness, opening doors to opportunities in community safety, healthcare support, and workplace compliance across South Africa.
Public Speaking Workshops
This workshop focuses on the art of public speaking, helping participants develop the confidence and clarity needed to communicate effectively in front of an audience. It covers core techniques such as speech structure, vocal control, body language, and audience engagement. Participants practice delivering speeches, handling nerves, and thinking on their feet through guided exercises and real-time feedback.
The workshop also explores storytelling, persuasive speaking, and using visual aids to strengthen presentations. By equipping participants with these essential communication tools, the program empowers them to lead confidently in professional, academic, and community settings across South Africa.
Counseling Workshops
This workshop provides personalized career counseling to help individuals navigate their professional development and achieve career satisfaction.
It focuses on self-reflection, decision-making, and goal setting, enabling participants to make informed choices regarding their careers.

It is our believe that through the right sponsors and affiliations our kids can exit from The Skills Development Year for Work Readiness Program by being propelled into a job or apprenticeship that will secure their next phase in life as a whole person. Being equipped with a rock solid foundation to face the adult world with its challenges and to put into practice their gifts and talents by passing on the baton of mentorship to reach their potential and destiny. Career planning to get them into the correct long-term calling or passion to build their own legacy one day.
